| So by now you might have noticed when trying to create your 3D art work with your character using a Head gear that tuff of hair sticks out of the hat.
This is one way to help fix this problem.
First of all create you character using Final Fantasy XI Module Viewer.
Now open up the file using Metaseq.

On the left you will notice some buttons, click on Del.
This will let you delete the wire frames where the hair sticks out, but be careful, because if you mess it up you character will have a big hole in its head.
If you make a mistake hit Edit (Top menu) and undo
Mouse Control
- Left Click - Delete wire mesh.
- Right Click + Moving mouse - Moves camera
- Mouse Wheel - Zoom in and out

- Magnifying glass controls zoom - Use Mouse to zoom in and out.
- Green Arrows control Camera control - Use mouse, up down left and right
- Purple Arrows Control angle -Use mouse up down left and right to control the angle.
Once you done that have a careful look around making sure that you not missing any tuffs or you made a hole in the characters head.
You will need to zoom in to be able to get to the smaller parts.
After you done it will look something like this.

Save it, and now use 3D Studio Max 2010 to finish of your work.
It should now look like this when you finished rendering it.
